On the second day of the competition at the Minsk Arena speed skating stadium, Belarusians added five medals to their collection of awards: one gold, one silver and three bronze.
Belarusian Anna Domoratskaya showed the best result in the 1000 meters among women - 1:16.96.Silver and bronze were won by Irina Kuznetsova and Alexandra Kravchenko from Russia, who lost more than one and a half seconds to Domoratskaya. At a similar distance for men, Ignat Golovatyuk took silver. The victory was won by Russian Viktor Mushtakov. Another Belarusian, Viktor Rudenko, took bronze.
The Belarusians won two more bronzes in the team race: the women's trio consisting of Anna Kovaleva, Ekaterina Krupenkova and Yulia Malyukevich showed the third result - 3:22.40. The men's team, which included Evgeny Bolgov, Egor Domoratsky and Andrey Ilyutik, also finished third - 3:59.69.
After two days of the Strongest Cup, the Belarusian team has 11 medals (4-4-3). Tomorrow the athletes will determine the best at a distance of 1500 m, as well as in mass starts.
