International anti-doping seminar in Minsk

The Sports and Tourism Ministry of the Republic of Belarus together with the National Anti-Doping Agency of Belarus and with the support of the Council of Europe will hold an international anti-doping seminar “Anti-Doping Program Implementation. Roles and Responsibilities of Athlete Support personnel” on September 7, 2017».
The Seminar will be conducted in order to raise anti-doping awareness of the Sports Movement of the Republic of Belarus. The event aims to raise the level of anti-doping expertise of sports officials and relevant stakeholders in managing anti-doping issues.
In the course of the event issues such as the role of Sports Federations in the fight against doping, best practices of working with Federations, protection of Clean Sport and Clean Athletes, anti-doping responsibility of National Federations, including other relevant important anti-doping issues of interest to the sports movement will be discussed.
Highly-qualified international anti-doping experts will deliver their presentations in the course of the “Anti-Doping Program Implementation. Roles and Responsibilities of Athlete Support personnel”. These speakers are:
Liene Kozlovska – Senior Project Manager Anti-Doping Convention Sport Conventions Division Council of Europe;
Dr Lucienne Attard – Chairperson Advisory Group on Education (T-DO-ED) of the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention Director NADO Malta;
Amanda Hudson – Head of Education and Athlete Support (UKAD);
Michal Rynkowski – Acting Director (POLADA);
Dr David Muller – Head of Information and Education, Medicine, Quality Management (NADA Austria).
The Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Baradulya and the First Deputy Minister of Health Pinevich Dmitriy are to attend the event.
Anti-Doping officials, experts of Republican Centers for Olympic Training, Olympic Reserve Colleges, National Sports Federations, Sports Medicine Centers and other stakeholders from the fields of education and healthcare.
The Seminar will be held in the conference-hall of hotel “Yubileiny” from 14:00 till 17:00. Registration starts at 13:30.
